They are so gross
So Sara Lee is marketing white bread as whole grain, just because they put a few in the dough.
Of course, the ingredients give it away as just another broth of refined sweeteners (corn syrup), refined oils (and cottonseed oil? gross), and preservatives.
Hey, at least there's no hydrogenated oils. Thank someone for small favors, eh?
The processed "food" industries are turning the whole grain thing into a low-carb mania redux. No, worse. At least when they put "no carbs" on bottled water labels, they were telling the truth.

yuck, you're so right Josh. We saw a wonderful American movie called The Future of Food in the Wellingon film festival last month, I thoroughly recommend it.

The water labels are so ridiculous though. And the fact that people must be responsive to them (otherwise why would everyone keep doing it?) makes me grieve for the future of our species. Are we really that stupid?

They're also labeling water as "fat free." I just laugh about it. Anybody so dumb.... But Sara Lee's whole grain bread ought to banned until the label changes. Isn't marketing wonderful?
